Why VoIP Numbers Get Rejected for SMS Codes

Many apps refuse a VoIP number at the phone step or silently drop the text. This page explains the usual reasons and what you can verify on NonVoIPService before you order.

Apps label some ranges as virtual

Large sites keep lists of number ranges that come from internet-phone providers. If the number you type sits in one of those ranges, the form can show an error such as “use a mobile number” before it sends a code. That decision is made by the app, not by NonVoIPService.

The same range can work on Monday and fail on Thursday after the app updates its list. A previous success on a different account is not evidence that the next order will be accepted.

Reuse makes a line look shared

Verification numbers are often used more than once. When many people receive codes on the same line, stricter apps treat it as a shared inbox and stop sending. That is a reason to read the catalog instead of assuming a famous country code will pass.

A longer rental keeps one number for the duration you bought, which matters when the app sends a second text to the same line. It does not force the app to accept the number in the first place.

What to do on this site

Search the pricing catalog for the service name and country you need. If it is not in stock, there is nothing to order. If it is in stock, the checkout price is the amount charged to your wallet balance.

After you order, the dashboard shows the number and any SMS that arrives. Do not send the code, your password, or an API key to support. Support can see order status. They cannot make another company’s app accept a line it has blocked.

Refunds when no code arrives

A short-term order has a cancel window in the first minutes and a later timeout. If the timeout is reached and no SMS arrived, the lifecycle returns the charge to your wallet balance. Orders that already received a message are not refunded. Long-term rentals follow the rental terms shown at purchase and the refund policy.

Questions

Does NonVoIPService bypass an app’s phone check?

No. You receive an SMS on a number you ordered. The other company’s rules still apply. Circumventing a security system is prohibited in the acceptable use rules.

Why did a VoIP app number fail?

The site likely classified that range as virtual, or it has seen too many verification texts on similar numbers. NonVoIPService does not operate that VoIP app.

Should I keep buying numbers until one works?

Only order a listing that is in stock for the service you are using. Repeated orders for a service that keeps rejecting the range will keep failing.

Is there a published success percentage?

No. This site does not publish a success rate, a delivery-time guarantee, or a promise that a specific app will accept the next number.
