COMPARISON

eSIM vs an SMS Verification Number

An eSIM lives in a handset as a carrier plan. A NonVoIPService number is a catalog rental for SMS codes, read in your account. This site does not sell eSIMs.

What an eSIM is

An eSIM is a digital SIM profile that a mobile carrier installs on a compatible phone. It can place calls, use mobile data, and receive texts on that device for as long as the plan stays active. You manage it in the phone’s cellular settings.

Buying an eSIM means choosing a carrier plan, installing a QR code or activation, and keeping the phone online. That is a different purchase from a verification order.

What you get here

A NonVoIPService order assigns a number from the non-VoIP catalog for a short window or a rental of 1, 3, 7, 14, or 30 days when those products are in stock. SMS for the service you selected shows in the dashboard or API. You do not install a carrier profile on your phone.

Countries and services change with stock. The pricing page is the current list. There is no separate eSIM checkout.

Which one to use

Choose an eSIM from a carrier when you need data and calls on a phone you carry. Choose a catalog number when a website asks for an SMS code and that service is in stock here.

A catalog number is not a travel data plan, and an eSIM from another company is not automatically a NonVoIPService order. Do not expect a code from an app to appear on an eSIM you bought somewhere else unless that app texted that eSIM.

Questions

Does NonVoIPService sell eSIMs?

No. The products are short-term and long-term non-VoIP numbers for SMS, plus the API for the same catalog.

Can I move this number into my phone as an eSIM?

No. The number is read on the website or through the API for the order you bought. It is not installed as a carrier profile.

Which lasts longer?

An eSIM lasts for the carrier plan you bought from that carrier. A number here lasts for the short-term window or the rental length shown at checkout.

Where are countries listed?

Open pricing. The country list is the live catalog, not a fixed total printed on this page.
