NON-VOIP NUMBERS
Non-VoIP Numbers for SMS and OTP Checks
A non-VoIP number is a phone line that receives SMS the way a mobile number does, instead of as an internet-only VoIP line. NonVoIPService lists these numbers so you can complete a verification when a normal VoIP number is refused. Availability is the live catalog, not a fixed inventory.

VoIP and non-VoIP, in plain terms
VoIP numbers place calls and texts over the internet. Many consumer apps still accept them. Others look at the number range and reject it because those ranges are shared, recycled, or easy to create in bulk. A non-VoIP listing is sold as a line that sits outside those VoIP ranges. That improves the chance of receiving a code. It is not a promise that a specific bank, marketplace, or social app will approve the number on the first try.
What you actually receive
You receive the right to use a listed number for the rental you bought, and you see the SMS that arrives for that order inside NonVoIPService. You do not receive a SIM card in the mail, and you do not take over a private person's handset. When the rental ends, the number returns to the pool unless you bought a longer term that is still active. Treat the line as a verification tool, not as a permanent personal mobile number, unless the duration you purchased is meant to cover that period.
How to choose a listing
Start with the country the app expects. A US app often wants a US number. A UK app often wants a UK number. Then match the service name in the catalog. Prices differ by country, service, and duration because upstream cost differs. Open pricing to see what is in stock now. If the combination you need is missing, it is not hidden behind another menu. It is simply not available at that moment.
Limits you should know
Do not use the service to evade a ban, to open accounts you are not allowed to open, or to intercept someone else's messages. The terms of service describe acceptable use. Codes can fail when the sender blocks the range, when you request the SMS before the number is assigned, or when the rental expires. Support can look at the order record. Support cannot force an outside company to deliver a text.
Next step
If you already know you need a text code, read the SMS verification page. If you need a United States line specifically, see USA SMS verification. Developers who want to place the same order from their own software should start with the API documentation. Everyone else can create an account and pay only for a number that is listed.
Frequently asked questions
Is a non-VoIP number the same as a physical SIM?
It is a real phone line for receiving SMS, offered through NonVoIPService for the rental period. You do not get a plastic SIM shipped to you.
Can I keep the number forever?
You keep it for the duration you purchase. Extend only by buying a rental that is still offered. There is no lifetime number product.
Why was my code rejected?
The app may block that range, ask for a different country, or send the code late. Try a fresh listing for that service if one is in stock, or use another verification method the app allows.
