VoIP vs Non-VoIP Numbers for SMS Verification
A VoIP number is an internet phone line. A non-VoIP number on NonVoIPService is a catalog listing meant to receive SMS for a verification window. They are not the same product, and an app can still reject either one.

What a VoIP number is
VoIP sends calls and texts over a data connection. The number is hosted by an internet-phone provider, a softphone app, or a business PBX. Many of those ranges are easy for a website to recognize because the same blocks have been used for virtual lines for years.
People use VoIP for a desk phone, a call center, or a second line on a laptop. That is a calling product. It is a weak fit when a site specifically asks for a mobile number and then refuses the text.
What NonVoIPService lists
NonVoIPService sells access to numbers from its non-VoIP catalog. You pick a country and a service that are in stock, pay from your wallet, and read the incoming SMS in the dashboard or through the API. The live catalog is the list that matters. A country or app that is missing there cannot be ordered.
The public site does not publish a fixed success rate. Terms of service state that a number may not work with every third-party platform and that SMS delivery cannot be guaranteed for every service.
How to choose
Use a VoIP line when you need ongoing calls on a desk phone you control. Use a NonVoIPService number when a site asks for an SMS code and that service is listed in stock. Open pricing before you pay so you see the current country, duration, and price.
If you only need one code, a short-term order matches that job. If the same app may text the number again during a rental, look at the 1-day, 7-day, 14-day, or 30-day options that are actually available. Sold-out durations are not a hidden menu.
What neither option guarantees
An app can block a range, delay the text, or ask for a voice call instead. NonVoIPService does not control the sender. If a short-term order ends without an SMS, the order lifecycle returns the wallet charge when the timeout rules are met. An order that already received a code is not refunded. Other cases follow the refund policy.
Questions
Is a NonVoIPService number a VoIP line?
No. The catalog is the non-VoIP product. A VoIP softphone number is a different kind of line and is not what the order flow assigns.
Will every website accept a non-VoIP number?
No. Acceptance depends on the website, the country, and whether that number range has been used heavily. Check the live catalog for the service you need.
Where do I see the price difference?
Pricing does not use one flat rate. The pricing page loads the current sell price for the number type, country, and service you select.
What if the SMS never arrives?
Short-term orders that time out without an SMS follow the order lifecycle and return the charge to the wallet when those rules are met. Read the refund policy for purchases that were already used.
