Temporary US Number for SMS Verification
A temporary US number on NonVoIPService is a short catalog order for one verification text. It is not a SIM, and it is not a number you keep after the window closes.

What you are ordering
You pick United States and a service that the catalog currently lists, pay the sell price shown at checkout, and read the SMS in the dashboard or through the API. The public page does not freeze a dollar amount. Stock and price move, so the pricing table is the only figure to trust.
Search-tool volumes for “temporary US number” are estimates. They are not a forecast of how many orders this site can fill.
How the short window works
Use a temporary order when you need a single code. A short-term order can be cancelled in the first 6 minutes. If no SMS arrives, the order times out at about 20 minutes, with a 3-minute grace, and the lifecycle returns the wallet charge. A code that already arrived is not refunded as unused.
Apps such as PayPal, Discord, Instagram, Facebook, X, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Google each decide whether to accept a number. NonVoIPService does not bypass those checks. Open pricing, confirm the service is in stock, and only verify an account you are allowed to access.
What to do before you pay
Create an account, add wallet credit, and filter the catalog to United States plus the service name. If the row is missing, that route is not for sale. Do not assume a sold-out app can be ordered under a different label.
If the same app may text the number again later the same day, a temporary line is the wrong product. Use the rental guide and buy a duration the catalog actually shows.
Questions
Is a temporary US number a SIM card?
No. You receive SMS in your NonVoIPService account for the order window. Nothing is shipped and nothing is installed in a phone.
Will PayPal, Discord, or Instagram accept it?
Only that service can decide. Check that the name is in stock on the pricing page. A missing row means you cannot order it.
What if the text never arrives?
A short-term order with no SMS follows the timeout rules and returns the charge to your wallet. Read the refund policy for any order that already received a code.
Where is the price?
The pricing page loads the current US sell price for the service you select. This guide does not publish a fixed rate.
